1st Lt Dexter C. Schnebly graduated from Montreal High School and attended McGill University in Montreal. He volunteered for the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940. He was transferred to the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942.A/C 42-3110 was seen to be hit by flak over Dollard Bay, south of Emden. The aircraft was last seen at 1245 hours about five miles west of Jemgum on a heading of 90 degrees at 8000 feet, under control and going down. It was reported to have been followed by a Bf-109.
