S/Sgt William G. Maylor enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 10 June 1942.On this mission, a great deal of enemy opposition was encountered (over 100 enemy aircraft), causing 10 aircraft of his unit to be lost.
Four crew members survived and were taken prisoner; six men were killed.
