S/Sgt William G. Maylor enlisted from Boston, Massachusetts on 10 June 1942.On this mission a great deal of enemy opposition was encountered (over 100 enemy aircraft) causing 10 aircraft of his unit to be lost.
Four crew members survivad and wzre taken prisoner, six men were killed.
