More information

Glenn Moors participated in the Tunisian campaign and Sicillian invasion. His unit was then transferred to England and from there moved into France and on into Germany.

The exact date on which he was reported wounded in action and location where he died is not known. At the time of his death his unit was engaged in the fighting in the vicinity of Gangelt, Germany.

His great nephew, Thor Berge, shared the following: The family was fractured by the Spanish Flu, which claimed my Great Grandparents in the 1920's. The children were dispersed among family in both the US and Canada. The pain in my grandmother's face when she spoke of family said it all.

On the picture he poses with his brother Sidney, who was raised in Canada and served with the Canadian Army.

Note: The ABMC records incorrectly mention the 41st Armored Infantry Regiment as being the 41st Infantry Battalion.
