Sgt Thomas W. Chrisman attended Ottawa High School and was employed by Grand Rapids Paint and Varnish Co. prior to enlistment. He enlisted in Kalamazoo, Michigan on 29 October 1942. Sgt Chrisman had been overseas since April 1943.

He was wounded in the vicinity of Baesweiler, Germany on 7 November 1944. He died in a hospital in the Netherlands on 27 November 1944.
