Sgt Earl E. Schoenhofen graduated from Cathedral High School. He was employed at the Bellville News Democrat for eight years.He joined the Regular Army on 26 November 1941. He participated in the North African campaign, the invasion of Sicily and then was sent to England.
Sgt. Earl E. Schoenhofen was first buried at the Temporary American Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
