2nd Lt Sydney R. Miller Sidney attended Portland High School and worked with his father as hotel and restaurant manager.He enlisted in Portland, Maine on 27 March 1942 and had been overseas for only eight weeks.
2nd Lt Miller was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
