Pfc Donald H. Bailey attented high school for two years and was a welder before he enlisted in Tyler, Texas on 20 January 1944.He was first buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on 11 April 1945. He was disinterred on 6 August 1948 and his remains were prepared and placed in a casket on 10 August 1948. He was given his final resting place on 12 January 1949.
