Pfc Edward Williamson was a truck driver before he enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 22 February 1943. He was sent overseas in September 1944.

He was killed by small arms fire to the head.

He is also remembered at the German Protestant Cemetery in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
