S/Sgt Philip E. McDorman was a graduate of Fairview High School and was employed at the Standard Register Company before enlisted in October 1941. He was sent overseas in November 1944.He was taken prisoner on 1 January 1945 and died in Stalag XII-A.
He is remembered at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.
