Cpl Donald P. Bryon graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and attended the University of Virginia. He was employed by the Sperry Gyroscope Company.He enlisted in New York City, New York on 23 April 1943 and was training as an engineer in the A.S.T.P. program before being transferred to an infantry unit. He was sent overseas in September 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his back.
He is remembered at the All Saints Cemetery in Kingston, New Brunswick, Canada.
