Captain Fellers, a Clemson college graduate entered the service three years ago and was overseas one year. He was sounded in September 1944 but had been back on active duty for some time. He held the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star for heroism, the Infantryman´s badge, the Silver Star for gallantry and a Presidential citation for action on D-Day.
