2nd Lt Ralph D. Heritage attended 1 year of college and he was working as an inspector at the New York Shipbuilding Corporation shipyards in Camden before he enlisted in Trenton, New Jersey on 21 January 1941.He was wounded on 20 January 1945 and he died as a result of these wounds five days later.
