T/4 Dale W. Brown enlisted at Fort Lewis, Washington on 7 November 1941.T/4 Brown suffered a gunshot wound in the abdomen and left thigh.
He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 13 March 1945. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status, he was given his finale resting place on 7 December 1948.
