More information

On the way to the target the aircraft became disabled by emeny fighters over the North Sea and crashed. Six crew members were killed in the airplane or in the crash, four men were rescued by fishermen and taken prisoner.

S/Sgt Woodrow T. Mosbarger is remembered at the Oak Grove Cemetery Grayville in Edwards County, Illinois.
