S/Sgt Charles W. Raidline graduated from Liberty High School in 1935.He joined the Regular Army in August 1935 and was honorably discharged in 1940. He reenlisted in the Air Corps in July 1940. He was sent to England in August 1942.
The aircraft was attacked by a fighter. Five crew members survived and were taken prisoner, five men were killed. They were initially buried at the Local Cemetery of Wittmund on 20 April 1943.
