Ronald Passanando came to America, arriving on 2 May 1910. He was with his mother. They came to Chicago, Illinois. His mother died in February of 1931.He married Josephine Cutrano on 5 June 1934.
Pvc Passanando was taken prisoner on 24 December 1944. At that time his unit was engaged in the fighting around Grandmenil, Belgium. He died in a German field hospital. The exact circumstances and place are not known.
