More information
Pfc Lloyd J. Hill enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 4 September 1944.For some reason Lloyd Melvin Triggs ran off from home and enlisted under a different name Lloyd James Hill, so his military records are under Lloyd James Hill, but his birth, census, school, and other records from Maryland are under Lloyd Melvin Triggs. He was actually named after two of his brothers: one who died at three months and the other as a small child.
