Arthur Biesak attended high school for three years and was a clerk.

He volunteered for the Air Corps of the Army of the United States in Hartford, Connecticut on 3 November 1942.

The airplane was shot down by enemy fighter planes. All ten crew members bailed out. Only T/Sgt Biesak was killed because his parachute failed to open.
