S/Sgt Jake N. Kachadoorian graduated from Selma High School and was a machinist for the Douglas Aircraft CorporationHe enlisted in May 1941.
The aircraft was seen with #1 and #4 engines out, with black smoke pouring out. Wheels were down and boms were believed to be dropped. The left wing dropped off. The A/C was believed to blow up and disintegrate.
