John E. Cunningham was a salesman.He enlisted at Fort Hayes, Ohio on 19 March 1942.
M/Sgt Anderson was one of four passengers in a CG-4A glider with serialnumber 45-6158.
The glider was last seen when it broke formation. What exaclty happened is unknown.
The two crew members were killed. Also two passengers were killed, two men survived.
