Pfc Daniel W. Croll graduated from Boyertown High School in 1942 and was employed at the Boyertown Burial Casket Company.He enlisted in Allantown, Pennsylvania on 1 April 1943 and was sent overseas in October 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
His father, Claude A. Croll, was a veteran of World War I.
