Pfc Mont L. Riggs graduated from Oskaloosa High School, attended Iowa State College and was a financial institution clerk.He enlisted at Camp Dodge Herrold, Iowa on 14 April 1943.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
