Pfc Austin D. Williamson attended Parkersburg High School and was employed by Matlock Motors Co.He enlisted in Huntington, West Virginia on 7 April 1943.
The glider, in which he was a passenger, crashlanded on the landingzone.
The picture was taken in high school in 1941.
