Pvt Albert J. Beauchene attended high school for one year and was a mechanic.

He enlisted in Spokane, Washington on 27 January 1944 and became an American citizen on 8 June 1944 when he was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, assigned to the 12th Battalion Armored Replacement Training Center.

Pvt Beachene was killed by small arms fire in the face.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Foy, Belgium. He was given his final resting place at Henri-Chapelle on 9 November 1948.

The picture was taken during the time Pvt Beachene served with the 151st Airborne Tank Company.
