Pfc Sam J. Citrano attended Fair Park High School for one year and was employed at the Maurer's Bakery Company before he enlisted at Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 10 March 1942.He was sent overseas in February 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
