S/Sgt Harold L. Pillow was a textile weaver at the Riverside Cotton Mills before he enlisted at Camp Lee, Virginia on 23 March 1942. He was sent overseas in January 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand Failly, France.
He is remembered at the Mountain View Cemetery in Danville, Danville City, Virginia.
