Pfc Joseph C. De Tillio enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 5 August 1945.Hie died in the 59th Field Hospital of penetration wounds in his legs and chest.
Pfc De Tillio was initially buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium on 16 February 1945. He was given his final resting place at Henri-Chapelle on 10 November 1948.
