More information

1st Lt Glasco served in the Coast Artillery for 16 months before the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The aircraft was destroyed by fighters near Calais, France after being forced out to the formation due to flak damage. The aircraft was hit by flak just after bombs away. Gasoline immediately began to flow back across the wing and the aircraft began to fall behind the formation.

He didn“t bail out. He was last seen in the nose and was injured but he was probably killed when the plane crashed.
