Pvt Charles R. Judd Jr. graduated from Woodward High School in Cincinnati and was employed as a bookkeeper at the Cincinnati Machine Supply Company.He enlisted at Fort Thomas, Kentucky on 20 March 1943. He went overseas in July 1944.
His brother-in-law, Pfc Melvin Burbage, served with the infantry.
