T/Sgt Frank E. Spevacek attended John Adams High School. He was employed at the American Wire & Steel Company.He enlisted in Camp Perry Lacarne, Ohio on 24 March 1942.
He was reported wounded in action on 9 June 1944 in France for which he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal a first time. After recovering in a hospital in England, he rejoined his unit.
He was reported seriously wounded in action on 2 October 1944 and died four days later. The exact location is not known.
