Pfc John Kevin Craig graduated from Fenwick High School and attended DePaul University. At Fenwick he took part in amateur boxing. He was was employed by John Sexton & CompanyHe was married to Evelyn Naleway on 3 April 1943.
He was sent overseas in September 1943.
Pfc Craig was initially buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Son, The Netherlands.
