S/Sgt Maroy C. Dietzsch grew up on a farm in rural Brooklyn, Wisconsin and graduated from Belleville High School, Wisconsin.As an only son and only child, S/Sgt Maroy C. Dietzsch could have requested to be exempt from service especially working on his father's farm.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Molenhoek, Netherlands.
