Pfc Stanley V. Clark enlisted in Portland, Maine on 16 March 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
He was initially buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Molenhoek, the Netherlands on 22 October 1944. He was given his final resting place at Margraten on 2 February 1949.
The Clark family had five sons in the United States Army.
