Sgt Stephen E. Hancin was employed as a welder for Anthony Body Company.
He enlisted 18 October 1943, was trained at Camp Wolters, Texas and was sent to Ireland in March, 1944. He served in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany having landed on 6 June 1944 in the invasion. He was wounded at St Lo and hospitalized for three months in England.
