T/5 Dexter E. Wilson enlisted in Camp Blanding,Florida on 29 April 1942 and was sent overseas in November 1943.
He was a painter before he enlisted.
T/5 Dexter E. Wilson was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse,
Belgium.
In December 1945, the road in his hometown where his parents lived, was officially renamed Ellison Wilson Rd.
