George M. Mc Coy graduated from the Sidney High School with the class of 1939. He attended billings Polytechnic institute at Billings, Montana from 1939 to 1941. He worked in the Boeing Aircraft factory at Seattle from the summer of 1941 until he entered the U.S. Army on 17 March, 1943. He was sent overseas in September, 1944.Pvt George M. Mc Coy was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Henri-Chapelle, Belgium Block TT, Row 1, Grave 3.
