Pvt Lloyd C. Medberry was employed at the BMI plant.He enlisted on 12 September 1943. He received his training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and had been overseas since April 1944.
At the time of his death, two of his three brothers served in the army, Pvt Carrol Medberry and Sgt Kenneth Medberry were both hospitalized somewhere in New Guinea. The third brother, Pfc Byron Medberry was stationed at Camp Stewart, Georgia.
