Earl Baker graduated from Bakersfield High School and attended Bakersfield Junior College and was a clerk.He enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 10 July 1941.
According to a newspaper article in the Bakersfield Californian WOJG Baker died of a head wound, sustained on 17 December 1944. The exact location where he died is not known.
