S/Sgt Lawrence J. Lewis was a car department employee in Miles City, Montana for the Milwaukee Road Railway.He enlisted at Fort Missoula, Montana on 20 February 1941.
In March 1946, his remains were discovered in Wirtzfeld, Belgium by local civilians in a common grave, together with six other American servicemen.
