More information
Sgt Ralph J. Greenwood was one of five brothers in the Army. The other four came home, but two of them were wounded in action. His family learned from an article in the August 1991 issue of the "Checkerboard" that he was buried in the American Cemetery at Henri-Chapelle. No one had told them.Source of information: Astrid van Erp, Henri Hannon, www.wwiimemorial.com, www.fold3.com, www.ancestry.com - U.S., Headstone Inscription and Interment Records for U.S. Military Cemeteries on Foreign Soil / 1930/1940 Census
