S/Sgt Jacob H. Fox attended Montpellier High School and was a driver with the Becks Trucking Company before he enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 14 April 1942.He was reported wounded in action by artillery shell fragments.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand Failly, France.
