Pfc Robert N. Hamilton was a semiskilled mechanic and repairman before he enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 27 March 1942. He was sent overseas in February 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
He is remembered at the Madison Union Cemetery in Madison, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
