Pvt Arthur E. Sutter atttended Camden High School and worked for General Cable Corporation before he enlisted on 13 September 1942. He was sent overseas to France in February 1945.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments.

He is remembered at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Taberg, Oneida, New York.
