Pfc Willard G. Stevenson was employed at the Cornish Wire company before he enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 27 December 1943. he was sent overseas in July 1944.He died of wounds in a field hospital, caused by artillery shell fragments in his chest, sustained on 4 February.
