Sgt John W. Dantzler enlisted at Camp Grant, Illinois on 21 Fenruary 1942.He was reported wounded in action in February 1944, July 1944 and August 1944 (bullet wounds in the arm and thigh).
He was killed by small arms fire to his kidney.
