Pfc Frederick J. Stauffer was employed at the Milwaukee Railroad in Harlowton.He enlisted at Fort Douglas, Utah on 22 June 1944 and received his training at Fort McClellan, Alabama. He was send overseas in December 1944.
His last letters were written March 14, two days before his death when he sent Easter and Mother's day greeting to his wife and mother.
