T/Sgt Edward Corrigan graduated from English High School in 1940 and was a chauffeur.

He joined the Air Corps of the Regular Army in Boston, Massachusetts on 30 June 1941.

The airplane was shot down by Hptm Lutje of IV/NJG1. Nine crew members were killed, one survived and was taken prisoner.

The remains of T/Sgt Corrigan washed ashore at Sylt Island, Germany on 29 April 1943.
