1st Lt Nenad Kovachevich graduated from Purdue University in 1939 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

He enlisted with the Air Corps at Baer Field Fort Wayne in Indiana on 30 March 1942.

The plane was hit several times by flak so the crew was forced to bail out at 14000 feet. The plane crashed near Heidenau, Germany.

On the last photo Nenad Kovachevich with his family in 1921. He was the oldest of four boys.
