John W. Joslin Jr. graduated from Phoenix high School an attended college.He volunteered for the Air Corps of the Army of the United States on 24 January 1942.
He graduated as a bombardier from the Victorville Army Flying School in California in 1942 where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.
The airplane was shot down by enemy fighters. The entire crew of ten men was killed.
