Pfc Edward Grady graduated from West High School in 1943 and was employed at the Calvary Cemetery.He enlisted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on 20 September 1943 and was selected for the Army Specialized Training Program (A.S.T.P.) and studied at Fort Benning. He was sent overseas in June 1944.
